The diversity of terroirs offer to the winemaker an amazing assembly pallet. This wine is the essence of three regions: Côte des Bar, Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims.

Like the roots that seek the essence of the place, the winemaker tries to find the expression of the lifetime of Autrefois. By merging the same origin: the chalk of five villages classified Grand crus grouping together: Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger. he then emits this subtle flask: « Particules Crayeuses ».

The place of our fathers and masters, «Porte de bas» in Avize is a plot planted by Jean Waris in 1939. Jean-Philippe Waris honors the memory of his great-grandfather and his Grandfather Alain, vinifying the first place of the house. Vintage 2011. The next ones will be : «Les Bauves», «Les Terres du Buisson», «Les Regards d’Avize», «La Carelle», «Les Montchenevaux au Levant», «Le Grosmont», «Les Chetillons du Haut» and «Les Aventures».
